CALL FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATION ABSTRACTS
The Leverhulme Research Centre for Functional Materials Design invites researchers to submit Oral and Poster presentation abstracts. Oral abstracts for our inaugural Earl Carer Colloquium are primarily for early career researchers (Post Graduate students, Post Doctoral Researchers and Early Career Researchers from industry). Poster presentation abstracts are intended to enhance informal interactions with symposium delegates across the three days, at the same time allowing for in-depth discussion. Our dedicated poster session will take place on the second day prior to the symposium dinner.
TOPICS
Oral and Poster Presentations displaying novel work which aligns with the Research Themes of the Leverhulme Research Centre are encouraged:
Theme 1: Computational Materials Design
Theme 2: Experimental Materials Design
Theme 3: Intelligent Automation
Theme 4: Harnessing Exponential Knowledge – Applications of AI/ML in Material Discovery

SUBMISSION
Please submit your abstracts via email to LRCFMD@liverpool.ac.uk stating clearly if it is an Oral or Poster abstract. Registration is a requirement for any abstracts to be considered.
It should contain the title, author(s) and affiliation, and should not exceed 500 words.
PRESENTATION
Posters presentation session will take place over the extended lunchtime sessions and during a dedicated poster session prior to the symposium dinner and posters will remain during the whole conference for discussion.
PUBLICATION
Poster abstracts will appear in the symposium proceedings.

At least one author of each accepted poster abstract must register to the symposium. Main presenters for Oral Abstracts must also register upon abstract submission.
