A Museum For Me is Anywhere and Everywhere, Wherever you Are

Letting go of preconceived ideas about what a museum should look like, or should contain, or should be for, allows us to re-imagine and to create A Museum For Me - my stories, my memories, my hopes and dreams to share with others … wherever I can, however I can.

‘A Museum for Me’ can be replicated anywhere by anyone, with or without a kit

#AMuseumforMe can be used interrogate public representations of any social group, issue, or theme – such as these workshops in Liverpool 8 at the Kuumba Imani Millenium Centre and the Katumba Café, organised with the Centre for the Study of International Slavery to reflect on the nexus of city, university, and historic and modern-day colonialism.
