Global Opportunities

The School of Histories, Languages and Cultures encourages its students to consider how a Global Opportunity may fit into their degree. Going abroad allows students to study, work or volunteer abroad during your time at the University of Liverpool.

There are several options available based on your degree path. You can find out more information by using the Global Opportunities Search Tool and visiting Global Opportunities information pages.

For further information on Global Opportunities available for your degree contact the Global Opportunities Officer for the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures, Chrissie Evans (exchhlc@liverpool.ac.uk). Each department within Histories, Languages and Cultures also has its own departmental Global Opportunities Academic Advisor. You can find their contact details here.

*please note that the majority of these Global Opportunities are not open to students studying a language as part of their degree. For further information on the languages Year Abroad programme click on the link here.
