Funding for postgraduate research

Wherever possible we build funding for studentships into our research proposals, which has created a thriving postgraduate population at the University. Find out other ways below.

Studentships

Studentships are available on a competitive basis each year through the Research Council Doctoral Training Partnerships:

Graduate Teaching Assistantships in the School

The School is committed to offering the best training opportunities to our PGR students. As part of this, we offer the opportunity to engage in teaching training and then use this in real classroom settings.  When the opportunity arises PGRs who have undertaken this initial training may also be offered a paid teaching opportunity through our Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA) scheme.
