Carri Westgarth, Institute of Infection and Global Health, and Institute of Veterinary Science

In 2019 he was commissioned by a University of Liverpool public engagement grant held by Dr Westgarth and Dr Pearson, who led the cross-faculty Connecting Human-Animal Interaction Research  (CHAIR) network. In this pilot project, he worked closely with four researchers to translate their findings into poetry as well as hosting a public writing workshop and reading event, which resulted in a booklet of poems by staff, students and members of the public called Dear Fly.
