Changing Socio-Spatial Inequalities: Population change and the lived experience of inequality in urban South Africa

Project Team

Each member of the project team is associated with one or more of the four project themes. The team is drawn from University of Liverpool (UoL), Southern African Social Policy Research Insights (SASPRI), and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in South Africa. Team members contribute across all themes with key roles as indicated below. 

Chris Lloyd - UoL; Principal investigator; lead for Themes 1 and 4. 

Saad Bhatti - UoL; Postdoctoral Research Associate (October 2016 – September 2018). 

David McLennan - SASPRI; Co-investigator; lead for Theme 3. 

Michael Noble - SASPRI; Co-investigator; co-lead for Theme 2. 

Gemma Wright -SASPRI; Co-investigator; co-lead for Theme 2. 

Ivan Turok - HSRC; Co-investigator; contributions across themes.
