St Helens Young Carers

The North West Contractors' Training Group (NWCTG) which ULCCO SP are a member of, support a charity called St Helens Young Carers, who provide support to young carers so they are recognised and have the same opportunities and life chances as other children and young people of a similar age. For the December meeting we were asked to bring a gift for a young carer so that they would wake up on Christmas morning with something to open, as more often than not, these young carers do not receive any gifts for Christmas.

ULCCO SP came together for this, and collectively we managed to ensure that 18 young carers would wake up with a gift this Christmas. Together, the NWCTG managed to donate a huge number of gifts to this charity which you can see from the picture above. This is a fantastic achievement and for a very good cause.
