Our work with charities

The Equine Hospital is always keen to support and promote the work of equine charities that we have worked with over the years. A number of these charities have provided us with invaluable support from funding of clinical training scholars and research projects through to development of our hospital facilities and purchase of equipment.

Charitable work is an important part of our work at the hospital and we aim to help as best as we can by providing clinical and teaching expertise to improve the knowledge of veterinary surgeons, technicians, students and horse owners in the UK and overseas with the ultimate aim of improving equine health and welfare world-wide.

Many of our equine clinicians, clinical training scholars and interns have been involved in a variety of events and projects over the years ranging from giving evening talks to horse owners, to overseas visits to give lectures / seminars or perform clinical work. The veterinary student body at the University of Liverpool and individual veterinary students also organise regular fundraising events for some of these charities or have undertaken voluntary work at some of their clinics.
