This part of the hospital website provides information on some of the latest news about new diseases or ways of detecting or treating various conditions affecting horses. As a university teaching hospital, we not only treat a large number of horses but we also perform research on existing and new conditions and provide advice to vets from all over the UK.
In the UK we are fortunate not to have some of the diseases that affect horses in other countries, but veterinary surgeons and horse owners need to be alert to disease threats.
