Abstract University Education Podcast

Learning To AI Series

In this series, a guest discusses how Generative Artificial Intelligence is effecting Higher Education and how Universities might best respond. We aim to have a range of guests and cover a wide range of concerns, opportunities, and viewpoints.

Generative AI (GAI) is one of the most discussed, feared, and exciting elements of Higher Education. GAI has gone from an approaching possibility, a smudge on the horizon, to a feature of daily practice that has most definitely arrived. But what does this arrival presage? What kind of guest will GAI prove to be in the University?

This podcast series is aimed at trying to dispel some of the hype and delve a little deeper into the ways that GAI might change University life. We will discuss issues of concern such as academic integrity and how assessment practice might be reformed, or revolutionised, but also the amazing opportunities for learning and the support of learning that GAI represents.
