Job Description

As the Head of Organisational Development and a member of the Academy leadership team, my role is to contribute to the University achieving its strategic objectives by supporting the effective development of staff, so that staff can contribute fully to the success of the University. This involves:

  • developing a high performing and achieving culture through the promotion of supportive behaviours and the values of the University
  • supporting faculties to develop their talent and effectively succession/workforce plan
  • developing successful leaders who are able to achieve the best from their teams
  • supporting the University to effectively plan and implement change in a manner which enables staff to feel engaged, focussed and well equipped to achieve the objectives outlined within Strategy 2026
  • effective induction and ongoing development (both face to face and via e-learning)
