Job Description

I am responsible for the day to day leadership, delivery and operation of the Prosper project. Prosper, a £4.4M project funded by Research England, commenced in October 2019 and will run for 3.5 years with the aim of preparing postdoctoral researchers for success across multiple career paths. Prosper will deliver the Prosper development model and Portal with a flexible open access suite of resources available to all Universities. Co-creation is at the heart of the Prosper project and I am working collaborating with my team, project partners, as well as employers, funders, PIs and post-docs to develop and deliver Prosper.   

Key Duties: 

  • Leading the operational delivery of the project aims and outcomes  
  • Leading liaison with project stakeholders including employer partners, university partners and funders 
  • Leading liaison with local, regional, national and international researcher development networks  
  • Negotiating with sector funding bodies to enable postdoctoral engagement in the development process 
  • Ensuring that the project genuinely addresses equality and diversity in relation to access to and engagement with researcher development
