Postdoc Appreciation Week 2019 took place 16-20 September. During this week universities and institutions joined as one in recognising and celebrating the value and accomplishments of our diverse postdoctoral researcher communities.

Our University collaborated with the University of Manchester in sharing all local activities available for postdocs and wider research staff during this week.

All staff across institutes are invited to join IPHS and Psychology postdocs for their celebration event. IPHS and Psychology postdocs are presenting posters showcasing their work. Drop in for chat and enjoy cake, tea and coffee. Cakes also available to buy - proceeds will go to a local charity. Feel free to bring along a cake donation for our stall! Poster prizes to be won!

Ben McGrae from the Centre for Innovation in Education will lead this interactive workshop, aimed at giving you the tools to make better PowerPoint presentations, posters and graphical abstracts / infographics.

Ben will introduce you to some of the free software programs available to make infographics as well as discussing making content accessible to all.
