Specialist equipment
The Liverpool Department of Physics has a range of specialist equipment and facilities for use by external and internal clients.
The facilities range from the Radiation Detector Laboratory which allows the automatic characterisation of large volume semiconductor and scintillation detector systems, to the Liverpool Semiconductor Detector Centre (LSDC) which enables the construction and testing of detector systems for use in experiments at accelerator facilities across the world.
