Taking care of the non-academic aspects of research bids and project management, as well general finances.
Student Experience
Each department in the School has a Support Office dedicated to provide students and academic staff, support with Teaching and Learning. Students visiting the office can expect assistance with welfare issues, signposting to other departments, handing in any forms or paperwork relating to their course, collection of projects/coursework and the distribution of student ID cards. Any students with questions should make the Support Office their first point of contact.
Management Services
Each department in the School has a Management Services Administrator dedicated to provide support to academic and research members of staff. Examples of support include assistance with travel bookings; recruitment of staff; organising conferences, visiting lectures and seminars; servicing departmental meetings; arranging hospitality and refreshments for School/department events.
Analytical & technical services
Maintaining and operating our laboratories, equipment and facilities, in support of our research and teaching programmes.
