Professor Thomas Schramme and Professor Yanhua Wang

Yanhua Wang, Associate Professor and master's supervisor from Sichuan Normal University, China, has joined our department as an honorary visiting scholar and will work under the academic guidance of Professor Thomas Schramme. 

Yanhua Wang received her PhD in Philosophy from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. After doing postdoctoral research in the field of philosophy at Nankai University, she is now an associate professor and master tutor at Sichuan Normal University. 

Her research interests are basically in the fields of political philosophy and human development, with a focus on institutional construction and human development. She believes that "the development of the world has not only a measure of truth, but also a measure of value, and what is more important is the measure of value, that is, the measure of man." 

In this research field, Yanhua has published more than 20 academic papers, published an academic monograph, and, undertook several key projects as Principal Investigator 

Her current project, funded by the National Ministry of Education, is devoted to analyzing the issue of building a community with a shared future for mankind from the perspective of institutional construction and human development. 

Yanhua loves life, likes traveling, swimming, hiking and other sports, her life creed is:
