Personal Statement

Laura is a Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Liverpool Management School. She is the Director of Skills for our Undergraduate programmes which means that she looks after our Academic Advisor system.

Prior to her lecturing role, Laura was a student at the University, completing her PhD here which examined the whole system of care and the role of housing within this system. She also has an MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management and a BA in Business Studies. Her research interests are around the application of operations management tools and techniques in public sector organisations. She has worked in collaboration with social housing providers, the NHS, social services and other healthcare providers.

Laura has a keen interest in sustainability. Over the last few years, she has held the role of Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) Lead for the school which means she look at how ULMS integrates ethics, responsible management and sustainability in to all we do as a Management School. She is currently leading a project to map our coverage of the Sustainable Development Goals across all our Undergraduate programmes.

Laura is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
