Josoor Institute is the educational initiative of the Qatar Government’s Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy of Sporting Events.
The University of Liverpool designed bespoke Professional Certificate and Diploma programmes in Sports Business to develop sports business talent in the Middle East and North Africa region.
In addition to the Certificate and Diploma, Sue and her team designed a number of specific interventions, for example: Creating a Winning Culture for the Qatar Stars League, a four-week programme in the UK for middle and senior management of the Qatar Stars League, a training programme for Observers at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Russia.
The team have also conducted research projects, created teaching case studies to contextualise sports business education and knowledge for the MENA region.
