Research Overview

Darryn’s doctoral research which was funded by the prestigious Hodgson Law scholarship, focused on the constitutional impacts of Brexit on devolution. The thesis concludes that the differential impacts of Brexit have tested the limits of the UK’s constitutional order – edging the UK towards constitutional crisis. The thesis also exposed that there has been a systematic failure to address the impacts of Brexit on devolution. As a result, the thesis argued that there was now an increasing need for constitutional rethinking.
