Student Profiles

We asked our students their plans for graduation and the future, please see some of the responses below;

Megan O'Hare, Bachelor of Laws in Law

How will you be celebrating your graduation day?

I am going to be celebrating with my family at home and getting a takeaway.

Can you share a highlight of your time at University or a quote about your time here with us:

"You must always have faith in people. And, most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself." – Elle Woods

My time in university was a lot of self-discovery and also about how important it is to lean on your friends when times get tough. I am incredibly lucky that I have such an incredible friendship group inside and out who were always there to give a helping hand or pick me up when I needed it. A group of strong intelligent future Elle Woods are entering the legal world and they better be ready for it.

What are your next steps and plans for the future?

My next steps are to complete my vacation scheme with Jones Day that was postponed from this summer (they are hoping it will take place around Christmas time) and hopefully find some experience in the legal sector as a paralegal or legal executive.
