I have worked at the University of Liverpool since I joined Liverpool Shanghai Partnership as Executive Assistant in October 2008. During Shanghai World Expo 2010, I was seconded by Liverpool Vision as Delegate Care Manager at Liverpool Pavilion where I gave orientation advice and support to a wide range of delegates from Liverpool and Northwest of England. I have also worked at School of English and Faculty Support Office in a variety of administrative and support roles.
As I used to be an overseas postgraduate student at the University of Liverpool, I have the first-hand experience of issues facing students who relocated in order to pursue studies. I have been a hall tutor/resident adviser for years. As an adviser and member of staff from Chinese ethnic minority background, I would be particularly happy to discuss bullying and harassment concerns with students or staff from a similar background.
