The Wonders of Our Solar System: A Journey through Planetary Landscapes

Monday, 7 - 9pm

Start Date

15 April, 2024

There will be 7 weekly meetings on Monday, 7 - 9pm, starting from 15 April.

Overview

Explore the other worlds of our solar system with our fascinating astronomy course. While the Earth is unique in its ability to support life, the planets, moons, comets, and asteroids in our solar system are equally intriguing. Our course takes a detailed look at these celestial bodies, examining their origins, composition, and how studying them helps us to understand our own planet.

No prior knowledge is required, and we provide a refresher on basic GCSE-level mathematics, giving you the opportunity to re-engage with this fundamental subject. Using interactive computer software, we show you how astronomers study the other worlds in our solar system.

Additionally, the course includes a weekly guide to observing the night sky. Don't miss this chance to expand your knowledge and discover the mysteries of our solar system. Join our astronomy course today and embark on a journey through the cosmos.
