Why did you choose to study Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool?
Basically, I choose University of Liverpool because of the city and the ranking. I love The Beatles and Liverpool FC. Also, UOL is in the ranking university that offer Media and Communication with achievable grade requirement for me.
What do you enjoy most about the course, and why?
All the activities within and outside the course are often student-leaded so it gives me the feeling of being involved in my department
Can you tell us about an exciting project you have completed on your course?
Currently, I am taking part in SOTA show project which showcases students’ works of all School of the Arts department. It is an amazing and fascinating opportunity for me. I had a chance to meet other students from different departments, learn how to run and plan an event, how to deal with unexpected situations.

Can you tell us about the teaching methods/how your learning has been facilitated?
My first year is totally online learning due to the pandemic. But for the second year, we finally have a chance to have in person classes. Communication course will mainly be independent learning but you will have a lecture and seminar where you will discuss with your professors and classmates for each module
What extra-or co-curricular activities do you take part in, and how do these affect your student experience?
I am lucky enough to become a Student Ambassador. I help new students with their new academic and university life. I got to know more about students’ concern before and after joining the UOL. I have a chance to use my personal experiences to give others advises and insights about the courses or the student life here. I pretty enjoy the experience and the feeling that I can help someone. After being a student ambassador, I start participate more on students’ events to gain as much as insights and experiences I could so that I can help students with their questions, issues and concerning
What are your ambitions for the future and how will your experiences at the University of Liverpool help you in your future career?
Graduating with Masters and finding a good job here. I believe all of my experiences here will help me to improve and gaining new skill sets for my future jobs in Communication industry including communication, time management, self-knowledge, or planning things
If you could go back, what advice would you have given yourself before going to University?
You don’t need to be so stressful on your first year. Enjoying your time as much as you could and play a sport or join a society as soon as possible
