Research topic:
My research is in its infancy and my main topic is centred around young people's political participation in social media. I am looking at young people's perceptions of and engagement in politics in different cultures to understand the role of social media in young people's participation in political life and whether this contributes to the pursuit of civic democracy, as well as to seek out ways in which young people's political participation can be enhanced.
