Research topic

My research explores the development of digital literacy in China and the UK. Covid-19 has created unprecedented challenges for global higher education. Universities around the world have opted for online courses. Online education has further highlighted the importance of digital literacy.

The effective use of information is now key in contemporary society. In digital society, digital literacy competency training for higher education students has become crucial, however, there are still many students who lack key digital competencies, and the sudden outbreak of the epidemic has caused teachers to be overwhelmed when preparing lessons online. This study explores the digital skills needed to teach and learn online. Findings will also disseminate to help teachers and students better interact and further provide feasible suggestions for digital literacy education in universities.
