PhD Student Zixiu Liu Wins Best Paper Award
Communication and Media student Zixiu Liu has won the Best Paper Award at the MeCCSA PGN 2018 conference.
Her paper is titled 'News framing of the Ukraine crisis in the Russian and British media: Comparing The Moscow Times and The Guardian'.
Zixiu said of the acheivement:
The feeling of accomplishment that brings in confidence to pursue more, reinforcing commitment to my PhD project.
The Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association aims to bring together postgraduate students in media,communication and cultural studies from different intellectual traditions and cultural backgrounds in order to form research, and teaching and learning networks and also ensure peer support.
