Canvas Help and Introduction to Digital Tools

Canvas Help for Staff and An Introduction to Digital Tools for Education are courses that support and guide effective use of digital tools for teaching and learning.

Canvas Help for Staff is an excellent resource for new, existing, or experienced staff members using digital tools.  Within this course you will find particular sections focussed on:

An Introduction to Digital Tools for Education builds on Canvas Help for Staff to link tools to learning design approaches and provides more specific pedagogical guidance on integrating digital tools into curriculum and teaching practice.

University staff are automatically enrolled onto Canvas Help for Staff - you'll find it under the 'courses' tab when you log in to Canvas. It's searchable, so if you're looking for something and can't immediately find it, try the search box. You'll also find links to it throughout our digital education webpages.  Use this search function to find and enrol onto An Introduction to Digital Tools for Education.

If you're not a member of our University, many of the resources housed in Canvas are also available via our CIE resources page.

Whilst the Centre for Innovation in Education (CIE) has coordinated this resource development it is very much a collaboration between services including The Academy, CSD, The Library and Faculties.
