Monday 18 September

Welcome to the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures

This session will provide a welcome from the Dean of School and an introduction to key academic and professional services staff. You will also learn more about student support, the student voice and careers and employability opportunities.

This session is for all new undergraduate and postgraduate students studying a programme within the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures.

Masters of Research – Programme Induction

The session will introduce students to several aspects of the MRes programmes across the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures, including:

• The various kinds of support the School will make available for students.
• Some key aspects of the structure and the running of the MRes programmes.
• MRes students' status as PGT students and their access to resources.
