Equine Practice

If you wish to follow the Equine Practice study pathway on the VPS programme, or work towards a designated CertAVP (Equine Practice) at the University of Liverpool, you must successfully complete the following modules:

NB. There are also other module combinations allowed by the RCVS for this CertAVP designation, please refer to their website for all module possible combinations.

1x A-Module:
A-FAVP.1	Foundations in Advanced Veterinary Practice
1x B-Module:
B-EP.3	Equine Practice
Then, either the 3x specific Equine Practice C-Modules:
C-E.15	Basic Equine Practice Part 1
C-E.16	Basic Equine Practice Part 2
C-E.17	Basic Equine Practice Part 3
Plus 1x other B or C-Module:	Pick from the complete list of modules

A & B modules should be completed in order before continuing to C-Modules.

PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have access to sufficient appropriate cases where you were the primary decision maker to produce adequate material for the module. This may not be possible with some internship positions. You must also be aware of any limitations of your facilities that may make the accumulation of appropriate cases difficult or impossible.
