Day & Evening Courses

The Veterinary Postgraduate Unit's CPD Vets team offers a comprehensive programme of Small Animal, Equine and Veterinary Nurse CPD workshops throughout the year. These are aimed at veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in practice.

Workshops take place during the week at the Leahurst Campus, Wirral, using our modern training suites and referral hospitals. Most courses include practical hands-on sessions and case-based discussions and are led by veterinary specialists from the School of Veterinary Science or other renowned speakers from throughout the profession.

Many of the workshops complement the CertAVP modules.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation made ten or more working days before a course, the course fee will be refunded subject to a 20% deduction to cover administration costs.  Fees will not be refunded when cancellation occurs within ten working days of the start date, unless exceptional circumstances apply.

The organisers reserve the right to alter the programme or the speakers and/or impose a surcharge should this become necessary due to unavoidable circumstances.  Adequate notice of this will be given, and any resulting cancellations will be accepted if requested promptly.

The organisers also reserve the right to cancel a course if under-subscribed.  In this case fees will be refunded in full, or transferred to another course if desired.
