An extension gives you extra time at the end of your research degree and extending your end date. Extension of study will be considered where there are severe mitigating circumstances.
You can apply for an extension through Liverpool Life.
Approval will be sought from your Primary Supervisor, School, Institute, Department, Director of PGR, Faculty Director of PGR and the PGR Student Team.

International students
International students should seek advice from the International Support Team as to whether they would need to extend their visas to accommodate any extension to their studies.
