Research Overview

My main research interests are the sex industry, women in prison, vulnerability/exploitation-nexus, women's centres.

I place value on lived experience and disrupting traditional ways of knowing.

Theology Sex Work

I am a Visiting Fellow at the University of Leeds in the Centre for Religion and Public Life.

My research is influenced by the gaps left in my Ph.D literature review, and the ongoing influence of right wing religious groups and radical feminists in sex work policy and debate.

Needs Assessment

I am currently undertaking a Needs Assessment for a sex work charity.

Stripped Bare: Talking Fantasy and Selling Sex

I am currently writing a book on the stripping industry and its relation to broader processes of regulating women's bodies within a sexualized society.
