Research Overview

I am currently undertaking exploring the relationship between feeling excluded and early engagement with alternative ideologies- those critical of the mainstream.

I am also continuing to disseminate the findings of earlier research into the relationship between faces, embodied identities and acquired facial 'disfigurements'.

Research Interest 1

The impact of community and national health policies and initiatives. Most recently I have been working as a member of the HACCRu Team on an evaluation of the Care Quality Commission (November 2014-June 2015).

My doctoral interests lie in the relationship between faces, embodiment and identity. I am particularly interested in acquired facial 'disfigurement', experimental facial transplantation and identity shift.
