Jacqui Molyneux, the President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, is very supportive of SAVSNET free benchmarking for vets in practice. Jacqui Molyneux was visiting the Liverpool Veterinary School in Leahurst at the beginning of June, and spent some time with SAVSNET's Dr Alan Radford and Suzanna Reynolds, chatting about SAVSNET and about RCVS plans for the future. Free benchmarking was originally seen as a way of thanking practices for taking part in the project, and to encourage them to continue in the scheme. But as more veterinary practices are able to send data via their practice management software, it could become a way of sharing best practice across the profession.
