The symposium will be held on 5th and 6th of November 2013 in Paris, France. Speakers are coming from four continents to this One Health meeting- and Dr Alan Radford has been invited to give a talk on SAVSNET. The Symposium will explore Rabies from both a veterinary point of view- the ecology, epidemiology and welfare of free roaming dogs will be discussed- and a medical point of view, looking at examples of Rabies control from India, Africa and Asia- and the talk and  discussion on SAVSNET will conclude the first day. On the second day, there will be a look at Leishmaniasis, ecto- and endo- parasites in free-roaming dogs and vector borne disease. We will update on the Symposium when Alan is back!
