Rachel qualified as a Veterinary Nurse from the University of Bristol in 2000.
She spent over 4 years in mixed 1st opinion practice before returning to the University of Bristol as a surgical nurse. Rachel's role involved teaching the veterinary and veterinary nursing undergraduates. During her career Rachel has gained her diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Surgical).
In 2009 she moved to the University of Liverpool, Small Animal Teaching Hospital as Head Nurse and is proud to be managing a large team of Veterinary nurses, Animal Care technicians, Clinical pathology technicians and Animal care apprentices.

Overseeing the nursing and technical team are demonstrating their skills and knowledge to the undergraduate veterinary students, animal care apprentices and student Veterinary nurses.
