Ana gained a MSC in Veterinary Medicine from the Veterinary Medicine Integrated Master’s Program at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) in 2021. She has experience in clinical practice and research, has authored publications such as "Digital analysis of trochlear notch sclerosis in elbows submitted for dysplasia screening" and has delivered other research findings at conferences like AVEPA - Southern European Veterinarian Conference. After graduating she worked in several Portuguese small animal clinics, helped on spay/neuter campaigns and volunteered in shelter medicine initiatives. In 2023 she completed postgraduate Studies in Basic Small Animal Surgery with the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Small Animal Ultrasound with Improve International.
