A beginners guide to intellectual property

Format: Online Bootcamp (2 Hours) - UoL & Sumy State University

A short session for researchers who might be considering collaborative research projects and want to ensure their skills, knowledge and outputs are recognised.

This session will provide you with a brief overview of IP and an understanding of the considerations you might need to make in order to protect your own research outputs whilst not infringing others’. You will be given the opportunity to create a collaborative IP research strategy for your future project.

If you know what IP you are creating, what IP you own and what you don’t own from the start research collaborations you can concentrate on what is important to you – doing great research.
