My name is Klevis Krasniqi, I studied Politics with a Semester in China from 2017 - 2021 and now work freelance in video production.
I have fond memories of my time at Liverpool, I’m glad I got to call the city my home for 3 years and I am grateful for the friends I made and how I’ve developed alongside them.
From a young age I was always passionate about filmmaking which as I grew older translated into an interest in media and communication. During my degree, my two favourite modules were The Media, The Internet and Political Science and The Theory and Practice of Rhetoric in British Politics.
The former because I was fascinated by how narratives and discourse are shaped through video editing, photography and language. The latter was equally as interesting because it offered a philosophical perspective on modern day communication in politics.
After graduating, I worked in TV advertising strategy for 18 months but it wasn’t for me. I wanted to do something more creative and last year, quit my job to start working freelance as a production runner on adverts, music videos and fashion shoots. Through perseverance, hard work and a lot of my emails being ignored, I earnt some amazing opportunities and have recently started producing music videos.
