Autoimmunity-informed Phenotyping in Patients with Fibromyalgia syndrome (APIF) APIF, version 1.0 - Health Research Authority (hra.nhs.uk) 

Requirements: Adults over the age of 18 with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome. Must be a current or past patient of the Walton Centre. Must speak English.

MRI & QST Analysis in Trigeminal Neuralgia and Persistent Idiopathic Facial Pain Be Part of Research (nihr.ac.uk)

Requirements: Adults over the age of 18 with a confirmed diagnosis of classical or idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia or persistent idiopathic facial pain.

Determining the accuracy of changes in the nerves in the cornea using a method called corneal confocal microscopy to identify small nerve fibre damage in patients with fibromyalgia Be Part of Research (nihr.ac.uk)

Requirements: This study is recruiting patients with fibromyalgia and healthy volunteers. Patients and volunteers must be adults over the age of 18 and must speak English.

Fibromyalgia symptoms and the immune system Be Part of Research (nihr.ac.uk)

Requirements: Adults over the age of 18 with a fibromyalgia diagnosis of more than one year, without other conditions that would explain the individual’s widespread pain. Must experience weekly pain intensity of 4/10 or higher. Must be able to read English, must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

The use of anakinra in treating complex regional pain syndrome by blocking interleukin-1 Be Part of Research (nihr.ac.uk)

Requirements: Adults over the age of 18 with a diagnosis of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) I or II. CRPS diagnosis must have been issued within the last 15 years. Must have previously completed physiotherapy and had a poor response to pain medication.
