Joining us at this celebratory event is Yath Gangakumaran, Commercial Director at Sky Sports. Yath will present on the importance of English football to Sky Sports as a broadcaster and on the impact that Sky Sports has had on football in England. Yath will also discuss the future of football broadcasting given the current and future advances in technology and the increase in competition.

The English Premier League is considered to be the best football league by most conventional metrics and the professional English football league structure is by far the largest in the world. Hence, English Football eminence across the globe is unrivalled for both quality and size. Sports broadcasting has had profound effects on the beautiful game in England and the impact of Sky Sports in transforming the game has been and continues to be significant.

This Sky Sports and Football: A Symbiosis event will be hosted by Dr Babatunde Buraimo and will mark 25 years of our FIMBA programme. We welcome all those who have been involved in FIMBA over the years. We additionally invite audiences who will find the session stimulating as we hope to learn during the session what the future holds given the continued advances in technology.

As the event help marks 25 years of the Football Industries MBA, we welcome all those who have been involved in FIMBA to help mark the event. Additionally, audiences will find the session stimulating as we hear from the commercial director of the UK largest sports broadcaster on how the beautiful game of football has been made more beautiful or a least the wealthiest and how this relationship has benefited both football and the broadcaster. We hope to learn of what the future holds given the continued advances in technology.
