Did you know that #Basque which is spoken in the Pyrenees mountains has no relation to any known language? It’s also one of the most difficult languages to learn 🤓 . . We hope that you are keeping nice and warm despite #stormciara . If you’re looking for a treat to eat whilst you study or watch your next Netflix binge then inject some culture into your cuisine and try the Basque staple of #pinchos ! Whether you are #veggie #pesci #vegan or none of the above there’s definitely a pincho for you. @thewoksoflife has a post all about them so you can get some ideas and try them out for yourself! . . #myhlc #language #languagelearning #liverpooluni #liverpool #uniofliverpool #universityofliverpool #livuni #livoriginal #culture #food #foodie #foodstagram #photography #photooftheday #photographer #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography

Our untranslatable word of the day is.........aspaldiko! This #basque word is used to describe the joy of meeting up with someone that you haven’t seen in a long time. How cute! We know how great it feels when this happens, so why not get your aspaldiko on and meet up with someone you haven’t seen in a while? Visit the Liverpool Mountain in the docks if you’re stuck for something to do. Check up on each other and make sure you’re okay. Seize the day! . . . . . #myhlc #language #languagelearning #languages #culture #uniofliverpool #universityofliverpool #university #student #study #liverpool #livoriginal #livuni #liverpoolcity #photography #photooftheday #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography
