Most of my external engagement takes the form of delivering public lectures to interested groups. In the past three years I have spoken to the Tom and Liam O'Flaherty Society in Galway; the Kildare Public Library in Maynooth; the Bluecoat Arts Centre, Liverpool; the John McGahern Seminar, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim; and the W. B. Yeats Summer School.
