Teaching

I teach modules on medieval and early modern intellectual and political culture, with an emphasis on knowledge, power, and communication in the late medieval and early modern Catholic world. I also teach on the interdisciplinary MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. I warmly welcome applications for postgraduate research in late medieval and early modern European and Atlantic history, especially the intellectual and cultural history of empire, communication and the migration of peoples and ideas.
