Personal Statement

Alix graduated from Cardiff University in 2017 with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (Anatomy). Following from her undergraduate studies, Alix completed an MSc in Human Anatomy with Education from The University of Sheffield in 2019 and received Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Before joining the University of Liverpool, Alix was working as an Anatomy Demonstrator at the University of Birmingham where she was involved in the teaching of medical, dental, pharmacy and biomedical Science students. Alix joined HARC as an anatomy demonstrator in July 2021 and has been primarily involved with the teaching of human anatomy to first-year medical students where she was appointed the Lead Demonstrator for first year medicine.
Alix has moved to a new position within HARC as a Doctoral Academic Teacher. Within this role Alix is undertaking a PhD in musculoskeletal biology whilst acting as an Anatomy Demonstrator for a variety of programmes that take place within HARC.
