A big Liverpool thank you from our student Telephone Campaign callers!
With the first four weeks of the University of Liverpool’s 2022 Alumni & Friends Telephone Campaign now complete, our student callers would like to say a huge thank you to all alumni who have who have given their time, shared their expertise or have chosen to support the University with a gift or volunteering.
This year, the Telephone Campaign will be focused on supporting our student community through the Student Experience Fund. The Fund exists to ensure all our students receive the best Liverpool experience possible, from ensuring the brightest minds have the support available to complete their studies and go on to achieve their dreams, to empowering students with skills and networks to succeed beyond graduation.
Our student callers are so thankful to everyone who has picked up the phone, and for the time our alumni have dedicated to chatting to them about your time at Liverpool, everything you have been up to since graduating, and the rich and valuable career advice you have kindly shared with them.
Telephone campaigns are also a fantastic way to keep in touch with alumni around the world, whilst also giving current students the opportunity to find out what life after Liverpool might be like and widen their skillset.
One of our callers, Teresa, shared with us what she has loved about speaking to alumni so far in the campaign: “My favourite thing about being a student caller has been that you get to speak to alumni about their careers, to find out interesting things that they have done in their lives and the skills they have picked up along the way. This is all whilst doing important work that will help many people to achieve their dreams at Liverpool and beyond! Your student days are such an important time in your life, so it is great to know that you are always part of the Liverpool community.”
If you haven’t had a call yet, our students look forward to speaking to you soon. We really encourage you to take this time to speak with current students; it is a truly valuable experience for our students and we know it can be for our alumni too.
