Fees do not include general research project consumable costs and projects requiring significant technical assistance may need to be performed on a cost recovery or collaborative basis.
For pricing our services we recognise three types of client:
1. University of Liverpool academic researchers
2. External academic researchers residing either inside or outside the UK
3. Non-academic clients including those usually engaged in commercial activities.
As a guide:
- Ad hoc fees for pilot projects are £2000 per annum
- Full grant funded fees range from £3000 - £10,000 per annum depending upon the resources and support required
- Free access is provided to new academics that do not yet have grant funding.
Service work is available. Typical academic prices start at £150 per sample for processing and imaging.
View imaging is £350 per sample including sample processing and one overnight imaging run.
