ULTRA is accredited by AdvanceHE to meet the standards set out in the Professional Standards Framework 2023 (PSF 2023). Successful applicants gain Fellowship of the HEA/Advance HE.
The scheme will launch on Monday 2 September 2024 and will open for registrations on Monday 16 September 2024.
The Introducing ULTRA Handbook provides information on the following:
- An overview of ULTRA and the benefits of professional recognition
- Deciding on an appropriate category of Fellowship
- The ULTRA application requirements and how your application will be reviewed
- The support available to you during the application process
Further information about ULTRA will be posted over the next few months. Briefings will be held from Monday 2 September and can be booked through the LMS. The LMS will also contain guidance about the scheme and copies of application forms. A link will be posted closer to the launch date.

UKPSF version of ULTRA - remaining submission dates
The UKPSF version of ULTRA is now only available to colleagues already registered on the programme. If this is the case, your application should be submitted by 12noon on either of the following dates:
