The approval does not allow the use of material in animal models, termination of pregnancy or reproductive cloning research.
We anticipate that the stored samples will be used for the following areas of research:
- Elucidation of the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying disease pathogenesis, therapy response and clonal evolution
- Discovery, development and validation of diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers
- Discovery, development and validation of drug targets.
