    Teaching

One strand of teaching covers language work, from initial contact with hieroglyphs through to an independent competence in text reading, focused on the mechanics of the language, translation practice, and the extensive reading of texts, with a strong focus on text content as evidence for the ancient society, and texts as literature.

The second stand focuses on Egyptian social life: sociology, economics, law and religion.
